Below is a brief compilation of all the major anime and manga updates from last week. The last week not only provided the announcements of some major anime sequels but also the adaptations of some fan-favorite games.

China has banned Anime Cosplay in its new law.

In a news published by the Washington Post, China has reportedly proposed a law to punish individuals who dress up in clothes that might hurt the nation’s feelings.

Any sort of Cosplays that potentially degrades China’s feelings will be punished by Jail time. As per reports from credible sources, this crackdown is particularly aimed at anything Japanese since it targets Anime Cosplays and Kimonos.

A New Dragon Ball Anime Is In the WorksRumour

There has been a lot of fuss about Dragon Ball Magic in the anime community for the past few days. As the Dragon Ball Exhibit happening at New York Comic Con on October 12th is almost upon us, fans can’t help but get excited.

Dragon Ball fans have been anticipating and manifesting the announcement of the new season of Dragon Ball Super. However just over a couple of weeks from the said event, an anime leaker has revealed the details of the alleged Dragon Ball Magic Web Anime.

All this being said, no credible news or announcement regarding these rumors has come out. So we suggest you take this news with a pinch of salt.

Alice In Borderline Season 3 Announced

Fan-favourite Live-Action Series Alice in Borderland has been renewed for a third season by Netflix. Further details such as release date, number of episodes, and new cast members are set to be revealed later.

This was confirmed late Wednesday when Netflix dropped a teaser for the upcoming third season. This immediately led to online speculations that a newer season of the beloved live-action series was already in the works.

Zom 100 Anime Has Gone on Hiatus

One of the most popular and positively received Summer Anime, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead has yet again been hit by a delay. After dropping a stellar first episode, this Anime has been hit with delays and postpones again and again.

Now to add to the misery, the entire anime series is put on indefinite hiatus. The official Animation team for Zom 100 has yet to share the broadcast information of its last three episodes.

The frequent delays in almost every other episode, and now the indefinite hiatus with no return day in sight, have turned Zom 100 into one of the most unfortunate titles.

English Goku VA On One Piece Live Action

One Piece Live Action received many positive reviews from Anime fans and non-fans all around the globe. However, Son Goku’s English Voice Actor, Sean Schemmel stated in an interview that the latest One Piece Live-Action by Netflix didn’t impress him.

In the interview with Bleeding Cool, Schemmel went on to add that, Hollywood didn’t learn anything from the disaster that Dragon Evolution was. Sean isn’t just convinced with One Piece LA but also believes that no live-action ever will do justice to any Anime adaptation.
