One Piece Live Action Announces Japanese Dub Voice Actors and Last Letter from Eiichiro Oda

Netflix’s latest Anime Live-Action drama series One Piece is finally set to begin global exclusive distribution on 31st August 2023.

New Japanese Dub Voice Actors for the Live Action and the Last Letter from Eiichiora Oda have also been released.

Netflix has also released the Japanese Dubbed Trailer where you can hear the familiar voices of the One Piece characters. Iconic scenes such as Luffy saying, I will become the King of the Pirates! and the skirmish between Sanji and Zoro is projected in the trailer.

The voice actors of the One Piece Subbed version have already dubbed the Straw Hats just as was previously announced by Netflix. Mayumi Tanaka who is the iconic voice behind Straw Hat Luffy will be dubbing Luffy in the One Piece Live Action.

Likewise, Kazuya Nakai voices Zoro, Akemi Okamura voices Nami, Kappei Yamaguchi voices Usopp, and Hiroaki Hirata voices Sanji.

The remaining set of Japanese voice actors for the upcoming Live Action has also finally been revealed. The voice actors of the One Piece Subbed version have reunited to voice other characters besides Straw Hats just as was previously announced.

Shuichi Ikeda, the red-haired pirate who inspired Luffy to set on the journey of becoming the Pirate King reprises the role of Shanks in OP Live Action. Similarly, the voice behind the King of the Pirates Gold Roger, who inspired an entire generation of young pirates to set sail will be played by Masatane Tsukayama.

The Legendary Hero of Marine, Monkey D. Garp will be played by Hiroshi Naka.

Similarly, the below-mentioned One Piece Voice Actors will revisit their roles to voice the characters for One Piece Live Action Japanese Dub.

Only 6 days remain until the first part of the Live Action series hits Netflix Libraries. All 8 episodes of the first part that will cover the East Blue saga of One Piece story will be available to stream on August 31 once they are uploaded on Netflix.

One Piece Anime as well as this current Live Action is adapted from the manga of the same name. One Piece by Eiichiro Oda began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. Ever since the Manga has gone on to break numerous records and has sold over 490 million copies all over the globe.

It depicts the epic journey of the Straw Hat Pirates led by the main character of the story, Monkey D. Luffy. The crew sails around the vast ocean to find the legendary treasure One Piece left behind by the Pirate King Gol D. Roger.
