Most importantly, the upcoming chapter will provide a flashback of the time skip, delving more into the events that took place during that gap.
The previous chapter revealed that Sasuke Uchiha had been turned into a divine tree by one of the claw Grimes of Code.
The chapter however didn’t reveal when and how the incident transpired. Therefore we expect chapter 5 to delve more into this.
There was a short exchange between Boruto and Code during Chapter 4. There we got to know about their first encounter a year into the time skip. So it is likely that Sasuke was bitten by the Code’s Claw Grimes approximately two years ago.

The Powerful Shinju Clones
Fans saw the creation of 4 powerful Shinju Clones in the previous chapter of Boruto Manga. These are a new set of powerful villains who get their powers and abilities directly from the ten tails.
The Shinju Clones are more smaller and humanoid versions of Ten Tails. They are the direct result of ten-tailed evolution in many ways.
Cide used the power of his claw marks to split up ten tails into many humanoid versions.
These split-up humanoid versions of the ten-tailed beast chase the nearest source of chakra, and if they are curious enough about the said source, they end up biting it.
When the Shinju Clones do that, they drain the source of their chakra and ultimately turn them into a divine tree incapacitating the source completely.
Besides all that, the chakra they drained off the source leads to the creation of the Shinju Clone of anyone bitten while giving them powerful abilities and techniques.
And lastly, we expect Konoha to take action. In the previous chapter, we saw Sarada proposing an idea to the eighth Hokage, Shikamaru Nara.
She suggested that Konoha should team up with Boruto to take down Code. Therefore there is a big possibility of Shikamaru and Konoha villagers teaming up with Boruto to tackle the immediate threat of Code and Claw Grimes.
