What are Spiders in Hunter x Hunter?
Spider represents a group of villains in HxH Universe known as Phantom Troupes. These spiders are feared as they each possess a unique variety of amazing powers that could end any normal person’s life within seconds.

All Spiders in Hunter x Hunter
There are a total of 12 Spiders in HxH. Below here is a list of all spiders in Hunter x Hunter Universe:
- Chrollo Lucilfer
- Nobunaga Hazama
- Feitan Portor
- Machi Komacine
- Phinks Magcub
- Shizuku Murasaki.
- Franklin Bordeau.
- Nobunaga Hazama.
- Uvogin.
- Hisoka Morro
- Illumi Zoldyck
- Kalluto Zoldyck
Some of the members listed above were just temporary spiders…this means, they aren’t the permanent members of Phantom Troops.
Chrollo Lucilfer is the Leader and the strongest member of the Troop. He is the first Spider. Nobunaga, Machi and Shizuku are the 3 female Spiders in the Troop.
At one point, Killua’s brother Kalluto Zoldyck also joined the Troupe which was during the Chimera Ant Arc.
Who are the Temporary Members of the Troupe?
Hisoka and Illumi were the temporary members of the Troupe. They joined as Spiders during the York New City Arc and left at the end of this arc.
Hisoka primarily joined the Phantom Troupes so that he could get the opportunity to fight the strongest Spiders. However to his dissatisfaction, he couldn’t complete his main goal which was to have a fight with Chrollo.
As Chrollo’s nen was taken away by Kurapika’s judgement chain, he was powerless and Hisoka wanted to fight him when he is at his best. As for Illumi, he joined the Troupe at the request of Hisoka.
