The first season will conclude this week with its 12th episode, and now fans cannot help but wonder if there will be a second season of Berserk of Gluttony Anime.

Will there be Berserk of Gluttony Season 2?
Upon carefully examining the source material, we found that the first season of Berserk of Gluttony has covered up to volume 3 of the light novels.
Maybe a tiny bit of Volume 4 is also covered, but, surely, the first three volumes have been successfully adapted in the first season.
Now checking the status of the light novels themselves, the last volume of Berserk of Gluttony novel was released on October 28th, 2022, in Japan. Since then, no new volumes have been published.

Since it’s been more than a year since the last new volume was released, perhaps the author might have decided to slow down for a while.
But a year has passed without any news of Volume 9 now, and this is very crucial when discussing the possibility of Berserk of Gluttony Season 2.
Although the anime might have covered just up until Volume 3 of the novel, the Anime production team might still need to wait before deciding on a second season.
There should be enough source material, at least up to Volume 10 or 11, not just enough to conclude season 2. Therefore it would be reasonable if production decides to wait for a few more volumes before committing to the second season.

It might take a while before we see the exact release date for Berserk of Gluttony Season 2.
While it is not impossible for a Season 2 to happen, the release pace of new volumes raises concerns. Hence, considering these slower release patterns of the source material, even if a Season 2 were to be announced, it won’t happen anytime soon.
In the best-case scenario (highly optimistic), if the second season of Anime was announced during the final episode, Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 Release Date might not arrive until at least a year later.
Hence, streaming Season 2 should take at least a year or two if it is announced promptly.
If you are excited about the story, and cannot wait that long, you might want to check out the novels. They are available digitally, and physically in English. The physical copy of Volume 8 is set to be released in February 2024.
While there is also a manga adaptation, it is way behind the light novels. Hence, if you are intrigued by the story, exploring the novels is highly encouraged.
