6. Amegakure (Hidden Rain Village)
While the Hidden Rain Village is not as bigger in size as compared to the 5 Great Villages, it is sure as hell one of the most iconic villages in Naruto.
This is the place that hails one of the biggest antagonists of the Naruto Shippuden Series, Pain. The design of the village alone is very amazing and eye-catching. It is considered to be a land cut off from the outside world. As the name of the village suggests, it always rains in this village and never ceases to stop.
Amegakure, despite being small was once highly industrialized and developed compared to the bigger villages. Unfortunately, Hidden Rain Village was turned into a warzone between the greater nations like the Land of Fire, the Land of Wind, and the Land of Earth. 7. Uzushiogakure
Uzushiogakure is one of the powerful Naruto villages that are no longer in existence. This village was located in the land of whirlpools and was widely popular for its skilled ninja in fuinjutsu or sealing techniques.
The shinobi in this village also had notoriously longer lives compared to the average shinobi in Naruto verse. The village was annihilated mainly because of the envy towards the sealing techniques that uzushiogakure shinobi possessed.

He founded this village for the purpose of collecting and conducting experiments on all the kidnapped ninjas. Orochimaru was obsessed with learning all the techniques that ever existed. It didn’t take him long to realize that one lifespan is too small to achieve such a feat.
Hence the reason why he started conducting evil and dangerous experiments on innocent lives is to find a way to increase his life span. The Hidden Sound Village is also the home to the Sound Five, Orochimaru’s followers during the chunin exam arc.
9. Takigakure
The Takigakure village is located in the Land of Waterfall. The shinobi in this village as suggested by the name specialize in water release techniques.
While not much is known about the Takigakure village, it was revealed during the story that one of the most vital Akatsuki members, Kakuzu, comes from this village.
It was revealed during Kakuzu’s story that, after failing on his mission to kill the first Hokage, he was expelled from the village. After having no place in his own village, Kakuzu stole Jiongu, the Kinjutsu of this village.
10. Yugakure
Yugakure is another hidden village located in the Naruto Universe. It is also known as the Village Hidden In Hot Water. The village has strong inclinations towards pacifism and has transitioned away from the typical shinobi missions.
The Yugakure village prides itself as a peace-loving prosperous village. The village is constantly surrounded by thick steam because of the numerous hot springs located around the village.
